EMgrast 300 mcg Injection contains Filgrastim, a human granulocyte colony-stimulating factor (G-CSF) analog. It stimulates the growth of white blood cells, reducing the likelihood of infection in patients undergoing chemotherapy. It is not advised for patients with blood disorders and must be taken strictly under a doctor’s prescription. Emcure Pharmaceuticals Ltd manufactures this product. EMgrast 300 mcg Injection is used to treat neutropenia caused by chemotherapy, bone marrow transplantation, peripheral progenitor cell transplantation, chronic neutropenia, and neutropenia caused by radiation. Filgrastim works by stimulating the bone marrow to produce white blood cells, which protect the body from infections. It also accelerates neutrophil recovery in patients receiving cytotoxic chemotherapy. Before using EMgrast, ensure you are not allergic to Filgrastim and inform your doctor about your medical history.
